Request Data Deletion
Last updated: 2026-05-24
Your right to be forgotten
You have the right to request the deletion of all personal data OneFamily.uno holds about you, in line with Article 17 of the GDPR. This page explains how to make that request and what we will do.
Two paths are available: in-app self-service (fastest) and an email request to our privacy address (for users who can no longer sign in or who prefer to ask in writing).
In-app: delete your account in 30 seconds
If you can still sign in, the fastest way is to delete your account directly:
- Open the OneFamily.uno app and sign in
- Go to Profile → Settings → Security
- Tap "Delete Account" and confirm with your password
- Your connected social media tokens (Poster module) are revoked immediately on every connected platform
Your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can still recover it. After 30 days all personal data is permanently purged from our systems.
By email
If you cannot sign in or prefer to ask in writing, send an email to:
Suggested subject: "GDPR Article 17 — Account deletion request". Include the email address associated with your OneFamily.uno account.
We will confirm receipt within 72 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR. If we need to verify your identity to prevent fraudulent requests, we will ask for one additional piece of information before proceeding.
What is deleted
When your deletion is processed, the following is permanently removed:
- Your profile (name, date of birth, phone, avatar, location)
- Your ORE balance and unlock activity history
- Your needs, deeds, resources, dreams, and connections
- Direct messages and broadcast messages you authored
- Poster module: OAuth tokens for every connected platform (revoked on the platform side, then deleted locally)
Some records may be retained beyond deletion only where law requires it (e.g. accounting records for invoiced payments — retained for 10 years under German tax law). These records are stored separately and are not used for any other purpose.
Poster module — third-party platforms
If you used the Poster module, your deletion request also triggers revocation on every connected platform (Meta, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Meetup, Brevo). We call each platform's revocation endpoint before deleting the local token copy.
However, content you already published to those platforms remains on those platforms — we cannot delete posts that have already left our system. To delete published content, you must do so directly on each platform.
Other rights you have
Deletion is one of several rights under GDPR. You also have the right to access, rectify, restrict, port, or object to processing. See our Privacy Policy for the full list and how to exercise each.
