A neighborhood network that began in Bamberg — and is growing
How it all started
OneFamily.uno emerged from a simple observation: We live next to each other, but not with each other. Our neighbors have tools we need. We have time and skills others would value. But we barely know each other.
In Bamberg, a real neighborhood circle has been active since 2024 — up to 42 people who work on community projects together, share requests and offers, and genuinely help one another. This isn't a concept. It's already happening.
OneFamily.uno is the platform growing from that: A tool that makes such circles possible everywhere.
What we believe
Every hour is equally valuable
An hour from a baker, a caregiver, a teacher, a painter — all equal. That's our foundation. ORE (Romanian for 'hour') is our token for help given. 1 ORE = one hour of life.
Giving and receiving belong together
Those who help unlock ORE. Those who receive help use ORE. It's not coercion — it's fairness. Nobody gets left behind.
Nobody excluded because of money
The platform is always free. Funded by donations and grants. Nobody ever pays to give or receive help. Everyone belongs.
